NGO Platform launches the Spanish Third Sector Study
NGO Platform of Social Action, in the framework of the EEA Grants Active Citizenship Programme, has launched the “Spanish Third Sector Study” which aims to uncover the impact of the crisis on the Third Sector and the current and future challenges.

This study is necessary because the information about the Third Sector and NGOs in Spain is outdated and after 25 years of steady growth, some research show that economic crisis has also affected the Third Sector, especially during the last four years.
The NGO Platform of Social Action selected last 18 December the entities which will develop the study, according to its merits. Systeme, Innovación y Consultoría will carry out the quantitative research part and the Alcalá University will analyse the challenges and possible answers the Third Sector can provide in the future.
The NGO Platform of Social Action will coordinate both research and the final result which will be a precise account of the Third Sector in Spain: its size, action and future trends, in order to build a stronger Sector.
